This is a very good example of genuine antique English Victorian period 1800s ‘Tiger Cane’ furniture which was made to simulate Bamboo and was decorated in the oriental taste with Ebonised panels embellished with red and gold Chinoiserie art work. in the form of stylised flowers.

This Corner Cabinet has decorative panels to the top surface and in vertical panels on both sides of the Display Cabinets glazed door. Within are two shelves and the original decorative lining paper. The Bamboo uprights are capped with pressed textured brass patera.
