This is an excellent quaiity well made and well proportioned genuine antique English Victorian period Single door Display Cabinet which may also be used as a Book Case. The top surface, cornice cabinet and plinth base all have cantered front corners. The whole is finished in attractive well figured Walnut burl which is embellished and complimented by thin Fruit wood line inlays and thicker Mahogany inlays to the top surface, frieze concave cornice, cantered corners and door frame. The front cantered corners have a Mahogany border banding and a well cast attractive gilt Bronze applied French influence foliate molding.

The top timber figuring is book leafed matched and there is a nice curved edge molding which is repeated on the base. The door has its original glass which reveals the two full width shelves within.

Condition: Excellent - complete and with original finish.
