This is a charming and lovely example of a French 19th century solid Oak Buffet with a paneled top three frieze drawers each with a cupboard beneath of the same width. Inside is a full width shelf.

The drawer fronts have recessed panels with raised decorative carvings and an iron draw pull handle with a pierced backing plate. The cupboard doors have a shaped recessed panel with a well profiled raised perimeter molding and three circular stylised floral patera.

This is a very classic most attractive practical and decorative provincial / country Buffet. It has a lovely ’nut’ brown colour and has very good patina.

Condition: Excellent - commensurate with age and use. We have a key for it.
