This is a very beautiful and high quality genuine antique/ vintage French Commode made in the later 19th century or very early 20th century, either way over 100 years old. It is superbly crafted and finely detailed in the original French Louis XV ( 1754 - 1793 ) manner.

Condition: Marble and Cabinet are Excellent. The gilt mounts are naturally worn through cleaning so may be re gilded to taste if required.

Sellers observation: A beauty and they don’t come much better. Most have floral parquetry inlays however this one has way more attractive and dramatic geometric parquetry inlays. Miss this one and you will wait a very long time to get another one as good.
