This is an excellent quality example of a genuine Antique English circa 1900 (late Victorian / Edwardian Sheraton style compact size writing Desk with a raised rear superstructure. The desk is rectangular in form with two flush mounted side by side frieze drawers. the raised superstructure also has two drawers and a cast Brass Gallery on three sides. All supported on four corner positioned square inside tapered legs and spade feet with the brass and brown porcelain castor assemblies beneath.

The desk is embellished with cross bandings and fine line inlays. The desk also has an inset gold tooled leather writing surface.

Structurally the desk is very sound and the original French Polished finish is excellent for age however the old leather requires replacing . We can organise for this to be done on behalf of a purchaser and in the colour of their choice and to include quality gold tooling to taste....all at a trade price.

Condition: Structurally sound and original hand French polished finish is very good. Leather requires replacing.
