An excellent quality example of a genuine, Antique English, 19th century, Victorian solid English Oak two height Book Case / Display Cabinet in the Renaissance ‘Gothic’ revival style.

The pediment below the well profiled cornice has a bold dentil frieze which is repeated again on the lower frieze section..

The upper two door glazed Display Cabinet has four adjustable full width shelves within. The lower deeper Storage Cabinet has a full width raised ‘linen fold’ carved frieze drawer and a double recessed blind recess panelled boors with raised ‘linen fold’ carved embellished doors with a full width shelf within.There are other linen fold carved embellishments to the full height vertical engaged pillasters on both cabinets. All supported on a protruding plynth base.

Condition: The whole is in excellent desirable original condition for age.
