This is a very good example of this style of furniture being a very practical Display Cabinet / Storage cabinet for Books or Collectables having five full width adjustable shelves behind two full height glass panelled doors. There is also a full width drawer in the base section.

The whole is made from solid French Oak and is profusely and boldly carved in the Renaissance revival manner and still desirably has its original hand polished finish.

This furniture is very convenient to move as it comes apart like some flat pack furniture of today. The top cornice and pediment lift off, the shelves come out, the doors come off and the side panels also unbolt and come off just leaving the base. it is all so easy and convenient.

Condition: Excellent for age and only requires a clean and wax polish.
