This is a lovely compact size genuine antique Japanese ‘turn of the century’ Jewellery Box also referred to as a table box. it is finished externally with multiple sample woods in geometric parquetry patterns. the front full height door features a ‘Shibiana’ decorative inlaid panel which conceals three stacked full width drawers within all faced with complimentary parquetry geometric inlays. The door haedware is silver plate over copper and there is a top carry handle.

Condition: Excellent / Very Good commensurate with age and use.
