This is a lovely genuine antique French later 19th century Jewellery Box and or Trinket Box.

It is rectangular in form with cantered corners and is extremely well made. It is superbly finished in exotic Thuya wood. The top has a King wood borber with an Ebony outer stringing and the cantered corners are also in King wood. The top has a rectangular panel of Thuya with a central shaped medallion of Ebony Brass, Mother of Pearl and Kingwood.

Condition: Externally excellent - Internally good original however can be approved by relining with fabric or polished timber panels. A full size lift out tray can also be made and fitted for more versatility.
