This is a high quality genuine antique English Georgian Regency period sarcophagus shaped Jewellery and or Trinket box crafted from prestigious imported Central American Rosewood of excellent colour and figuring.

The lid of the box and the front panel are inlaid with decorative brass panels The box has typical of the period fine beaded perimeter moldings and stands on four turned bun feet.

Condition: Externally excellent. The interior is in as is original condition however can be improved by relining in fabric or polished timber panels.
