These are a very good set of preowned and prel oved set of Eight Antique ‘Regency’ style Dining Chairs including a pair of end armed carver chairs and six side chairs. these chairs were originally purchased from the Classic Chair Company who make world class hi end top quality limited reproductions of virtually impossible to find original styles of chairs. The original chair from which these are reproduced was an English chair of Grecian influence made in the Regency period 1811 - 1820.

The timber is beautifully figured and the chairs are correct in every detail to the original from which it was reproduced. The curved seats are covered in expensive English woven Horse Hair which is produced in small quantities on 18th century hand looms and are finished with individual brass studs.

Condition: The frames are in excellent as is condition commensurate with age and use however the woven horse hair fabric requires professional attention to marks on some chairs.
