This is an excellent quality genuine antique French three piece clock garniture from the last quarter of the 19th century.

The clock over all is in the Rococo revival manner and the decorative bronze castings are of exceptionally high quality and fire gilded. The gilt bronze is complimented by grey marble. The face is white enameled with Roman numerals and spade hands. In black writing on the dial is Clermont, ? Street, Honorie, Paris. The mechanism is stamped 3796. This clock set is perfect for the mantle piece, sideboard or side table.

Apart the top finial the clock case is further embellished with side mounted well cast Lion heads with rings in their mouths, foliate scrolls and quality well detailed mouldings.

Condition: Excellent presentation for age. Complete with pendulem and key.
