These are a very good set of generous sized antique 19th century English Victorian set of six Dining Chairs with a strong French Louis XIV influence. The chairs have a deep curved top rail with curved uprights forming an attractive waisted back. The seat rails are curved on the sides and of serpentine form at the front flowing into the shaped and downward tapered French cabriole legs and a shaped central vertical pierced splat back. The chairs have proper generous sized seats.

The chairs are beautifully crafted from selected imported prestigious Central American Mahogany.

Condition: Structurally sound. Being in aged original untouched condition for almost 200 years they require general refurbishing and upholstering to taste. which we can organise for you.
