Antique English Georgian Mahogany three tier Dumb Waiter
This is a very good example of a genuine later 18th century antique, English, George III ( 1775 ) Mahogany three-tiered circular Etagere / Dumb Waiter. Each tier has a raised perimeter edge molding and is turned from one piece of solid Cuban Mahogany and is supported on a central baluster shaped turned column between each tier. The whole is supported on a cylindrical base with a tripod formation of shaped downward and outward swept cabriole legs embellished at the knees with carved shell motifs.
This fine period example is in desirable very good original condition and is of excellent mellowed colour plus has excellent patination.
