This is a rare and genuine !8th century Console with its original Over Mirror made in Sweden during the reign of King Gustav III who reigned from 1771 to 1792.

Both the Console and the Mirror are of rectangular shape and are both gilded and hand painted. The Console has applied moldings to the frieze, a central cartouche of Gustav III in profile and is supported on four turned and tapered legs. The upright Mirror is embellished at the bottom so as to match the Console frieze and in the top panel has an octagonal also with Gustav III in profile.

Condition: Good for age however requires some conservation as to be expected due to its age and use which we can organise to be done by professional restorers.
