This is a genuine antique Italian later 19th century well hand carved solid Alabaster bust of Apollo Belvedere.

in Greek mythology Apollo was the ancient Greek God of Sun and Poetry and was one of the most widely revered and influential of all the Greek and Roman Gods.

The original bronze sculpture was made between 350 - 325 B.C. by the Greek sculptor Leochares.

Condition: Very good with only a few very minor chips that can be polished out.
