A good Antique later 19th Century French Bronze figure of Napoleon Bonaparte in military uniform, seated upon a rearing horse and with his right arm outstretched ( possibly directing his troops ) all on a carved stone rectangular base.

Napoleon was a famous Military and Political Leader who rose to prominence during the French Revolution and lead several successful campaigns during the Revolutionary Wars.

As Napoleon Ist he was Emperor of France 1804 - 1814 and again briefly in 1915.

This is a model after the original by Canova. The shaped stone base having "Canova" carved into it.
