This is a fine quality 19th century Italian hand carved statue which is accurately detailed reduction of Venus de Milo out of a solid block of Alabaster.

The original was carved by Alexandros around 150 B. C. and now resides at the Louvre Museum in Paris.

Condition: Near Excellent - minor chip to base.
