This is a very high quality Occasional Table. It is made from solid Walnut and the oval tilting top top is then finished in superb selected ‘book leaf’ matched highly figured Walnut of lovely honey colour and then marquetry inlaid with a Greek semi key stone pattern and with further inlays including a stylised centre panel and stylised floral inlays at the four majopr compass points.

The centre support column i well turned with the elongated centre section carved like an inverted lobed flower. Below is a bulbous turning which has stylised foliate carvings. From the cylindrical vertical base which has an inverted finial beneath flow four cabriole legs with carved knees and scrolled toes.

Condition: Excellent original.
