This is a very superior quality example of a genuine antique English George IV period 1820 -1830 tilt top CENTRE TABLE which also can be used as a DINING TABLE and is offered in superb condition.

The nicely figured Mahogany has mellowed to a lovely ‘honey’ colour and the table top has a broard perimeter exotic Rosewood cross banded border and bull nose edge molding. There is a shallow apron with a fine bull nose lower molding. The central support column is well turned and nicely profiled with a lower shaped ring collar. The plinth base is flat and quadruped in compass formation and is supported on four verywell carved and detailed stylised Lion paw feet which conceal the original all brass castor assemblies.
