This is a beautiful and very high quality example of a genuine antique English George IV - William IV circa 1830 Side Table - Centre Table - Writing Table superbly made and carved embellished by craftsmen from exotic prestigious imported Central American Rosewood. of excellent figuring.

The rectangular shaped top has a bold applied ‘ beaded’ edge molding and canter levers over a recessed rectangular frieze section which has a decorative applied lower molding and has flush mounted concealed drawers at either end

The whole is supported by nicely turned and well profiled end columns embellished with pairs of ring turnings at the top and boldly carved Tulips at the bottom.

The short vertical cylindrical bases have carved beaded collars both top and bottom and from these bases flow pairs of well shaped cabriole legs each embellished with bold and proud Shell motifs with trailing folage, lower scrolls and superbly carved Ball and Eagle claw feet with original all brass castor assemblies beneath.

Condition: Excellent virtually original condition.
