Antique English later Georgian Rosewood Centre Table / Dining Table.

Make no mistake in that this is a very good high quality genuine antique English later Georgian ( George IV ) 1830 - 1839 Table that may be used as a Centre Table for displaying objects on or for Dining purposes. It is ideal for an apartment or smaller dining area.

The table is of rectangular shape with a recessed apron and a lower molding. The central support column / pedestal is of baluster form and ihas Octagonal flat facets with a lower circular collar in the form of stylised carved leaves. The whole sits on a sloping circular base that bis supported on four well carved animal / Lion paw feet with additional small carved scrols and beneath have the original all brass castor assemblies.

The table is finished in selected well figured imported and prestigious Central American / Brazilian Rosewood which is beautifully figured and although once dark has now mellowed to a lovely honey colour.

Condition: Excellent condition commensurate with age and use. Size: Length x Width x Height .

Price: Was $2,895 now offered for $2,385 which represents a big saving.

Sellers Observation: Hard to find genuine age, quality and style. The simple lines would work exceptionally well in a contemporary / modern setting.
