This is a very good quality genuine antique English 19th century later 1860s swivel top and fold over Card Table / Games Table / Side Table The top and frieze section is finished in selected well figured lovely ‘honey coloured decorative book leaf matched Walnut burl and is then further embellished with fine and intricate Satinwood / Fruitwood stylised foliate corner inlays all connected by fine straight and parallel triple line inlays.The top has a nice curved edge molding.

The top swivels and folds open to reveal a baize playing surface with a walnut burl decorative border and a concealed storage section for cards etc.

the whole is supported on a centrally located ‘cluster ’ of four elegant well turned vertical support columns which rise from the carved embellished knees of the four cabriole legs each with carved upward scrolled toes and there original brass and white porcelain castor assemblies beneath.

Condition: Structurally sound and the original French Polish is in excellent condition. only the baize playing surface requires replacing and we can organise this and in a colour of your choice ie green blue maroon etc.
