Antique English George IV / William IV Rosewood circular tilt top Dining Table

This is a superior example of a ‘high end’ quality genuine Antique English circa 1830 Rosewood Dining Table / Centre Table / Breakfast Table / Supper Table. The top is circular with a fine ‘beaded’ edge molding and a shallow recessed apron and tilts on its brass ‘thumb screws’. The central support column is tapered and is of ‘gun barrel’ form with a slightly larger diameter lower section at the bottom just above a complimentary beaded ‘ring collar’. The base is a flat quadruped platform with a fine beaded top edgeso as to compliment the table top and bold protruding lower well carved Lion Paw feet with original brass castor assemblies beneath. The top is removable and may be tilted vertically for easy moving or relocating until required again.

The whole is made of or finished in lovely honey coloured and well figured, selected, prestigious, imported Central American Rosewood and the whole is in excellent condition for age.
