A superior quality piece of furniture made from both solid cuts and select feature cuts of mahogany. The rectangular top overhangs the ogee frieze which has flush fitted drawers to one side, though the table can free stand as it is finished all round. The top surface features a broad cross banded perimeter with two rows of book leaf matched flame figured Mahogany panels. The whole upon a pair of barley twist columns at either end which stand onrectangular carved platforms into squared tapered scrolled feet both front and rear. The platform bases are connected by a turnedstretcher. Condition: Excellent - wear commensurate with age and use.
