This is a superb contemporary replica of a genuine centuries old antique French Refectory Table on a tressle and stretcher base. The table was crafted from wide boards of well figured centuries old solid imported French Oak recycled from old buildings and has parquetry inlaid complimentory and contrasting timbers so as to form geometric panels there are also complimentary line inlays.

The top is supported by end recessed turned tressles on tapering bases which are connected by a broad flat stretcher. The table has then been lightly and sympathetically ‘antiqued’ for credibility.

Sadly it is the last table to be made by the talented Willmott Family and is from their very limited Private Collection range of individually custom made tables here in Australia.
