This is a very fine quality example, of a genuine, early 19th century, Antique, English, George III / Regency, Mahogany Breakfast / Dining / Supper Table of rectangular form and slightly larger size than is usual for this type of table. The superbly figured and wide two board ‘book leaf’ matched ‘tilt top’ has a complimentary broard ‘cross banded’ perimeter border with a quality touch of an inner brass line inlay.. The top is supported on a classic, central plain ‘gun barrel’ turned column. The table has four outward and downward swept squared and tapered sabre legs with plain squared cast brass toe caps with original castor assemblies beneath.

The table is made from solid boards of prestigious imported Central American Mahogany of exceptional figuring and now of lovely aged and mellowed light honey colour.

The condition is very good commensurate with its age and use plus the patena is excellent.
